Managing jury and audience users in your Innovote voting portal

If you have set your event/award to "username/password (e.g. jury voting)" in Settings

For each jury member you will add a seperate user and password combination. Hand these out to your jury together with the voting link. They will see this login screen.

Username

You can choose any unique username using their first or last name (e.g. Jane Doe), a combination (e.g. jdoe) or a anonymous login (e.g. jury01). When logging in the username is case insensitive. So both JDOE and jdoe will work.

Password

Choose any password for your user. We recommend a short 4 number PIN for most cases, but it's up to you.

Top menu

Remove all

Press this to remove all users in your voting portal. This will also remove all existing votes and effectively reset the event.

Upload spreadsheet

You can upload a spreadsheet (Excel or CSV) with usernames and passwords. Use the template link provided to download an Excel you can fill that is already preformatted for uploading. But any spreadsheet that contains two columns "username" and "password" will work.

The uploaded users will be added to any existing users you have already added.

Bottom menu

Add another 10 rows

This will not save your users but add ten more rows for you to add more users.

If you have set your event/award to "self-registration (e.g. audience voting)" in Settings

The list will show any users that have registered using your voting link.

Top menu

Remove all

Press this to remove all users in your voting portal. This will also remove all existing votes and effectively reset the event.
